Mr. & Mrs. Dove

Brandy and Justin are good friends of ours, so when they asked us to shoot their special day, we were so excited!  The love these two share is just incredible and their journey to this special time in their life is inspiring.  Brandy's father had been ill for some time after Brandy and Justin became engaged.  Brandy took her father into their home to take care of him and the bond they formed during that time for her and Justin was a blessing from above, and life changing.  They took him to his treatments, gave him all his daily meds, loved him, nurtured him, helped him with whatever he needed, when ever he needed it.  Brandy truly is an amazing woman and Justin was right there by her side through it all.  Justin got to know his future father-in-law and he his future son-in-law.  They became close, and Justin stepped up to the plate and was the best man he could be for his bride-to-be and her daddy.  Brandy wanted nothing more than her father to be able to be there on her wedding day and stand with her at the end of that isle and give her away.  Her father was becoming more and more ill, a lot sooner than they had expected. Although she knew in her heart that it was getting close to his time, and that he may not make it before the wedding she felt blessed and at peace because her heavenly father, gave her the greatest gift, which was to be able to hold her earthly father's hand and tell him she loved him and to hear him say to her that he loves her.  They shared his last moments together, and right there in that hospital room he gave her away to Justin Dove and blessed their marriage and their life together.  Shortly after, he went home to be with the Lord.  Despite her broken heart, she knew her father would want her to go on with her wedding and to be happy and to celebrate his life through her new commitment to Justin....so that they did.  Brandy found so many ways to have to father there that special snowing evening in February.  She wore his boots, and wore his necklace, and had a his photograph at the end of the isle where she would marry the man of her dreams.  We celebrated, we danced, we cried, we laughed, we sang.  It was so sweet and special, and we were so thankful to be apart of it all.  We love you B and Justin, and wish you nothing but blessings and love.
